Conversations in Fuenlabrada – Antonio Canales
The #CocinadoDanza series, inaugurated by Antonio Canales and María Pagés, consists of a series of meetings that will take place in Fuenlabrada throughout the month of December. It is focused, from the intimacy of its protagonists, on the reflection of Dance, in general, and Flamenco Dance, in particular. Integrated in the spirit that inspires the days of Christmas, the conversations that will be held by the invited creators aspire to develop a close and intimate tone, opening the possibility of deepening the emotion and sentimentality that marks their lives and creativity.
Conversations in Fuenlabrada is a way of thinking about dance from the point of view of emotion and subjectivity. They explore the creative memory of the choreographers and extract from it their best creative experiences.
These are formative conversations insofar as they touch on the experience and professional history of the participants. The experiential heritage of the artists is implemented here as a paradigm of knowledge transmission. In this sense, Conversations in Fuenlabrada aim to transform the autobiographical story into a teaching model.
The talks are open to all audiences interested in dance and its actors, creative processes and to all performing arts professionals.
