Event organized in collaboration with Instituto Cervantes
The truth is that many times you want to throw in the towel especially for the situation that the country is going through and asking for help sometimes makes you feel bad when you are cutting back on education and medicine, but I think dance is one of the most important arts and is part of the education of a country. Besides, dancers also have to eat and pay for our apartments and so far there was no company where we could apply for a job.
Angel Corella
Ángel Corella is considered one of the best dancers of his generation. His talent, passion and technique have brought him worldwide recognition and have positioned him as one of the leading names in dance. He is currently artistic director of the Philadelphia Ballet.

Over the course of 17 years with this ballet, he excelled in a wide range of repertoire, performing such iconic roles as Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and the Nutcracker Prince in The Nutcracker.
He has also been a guest artist at the Royal Ballet of London, the Kirov Ballet of Russia and the New York City Ballet.
Ángel Corella has received numerous awards: 1st prize in the Spanish National Ballet Competition (1991), Benois de la Danse Award (2000), National Dance Award (2003).
