CHOREOGRAPHY AND IDENTITY
Dialogue and reflection. In the current moment in which we find ourselves, these two concepts that underpin the Fuenlabrada Choreographic Encounters are more necessary than ever. This year we emphasize the personal and collective IDENTITY that through the language of dance becomes aware of who we are without ceasing to raise questions. That “Cogito ergo sum” / “I think therefore I am” of Descartes that applied to the movement of the bodies leads to connect with oneself and with the other to, undoubtedly, promote understanding between human beings.
