The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Spain commemorated International Migrants Day on Thursday, December 15 at Casa Árabe in Madrid. Nearly one hundred attendees were able to enjoy a meeting which highlighted the impact of migrants on social cohesion and the social, cultural and economic development of societies.

EL Arbi El Harti, director of the María Pagés Choreographic Center, participated in the meeting at the round table entitled “What does the migrant’s suitcase carry? Contributions and synergies”, together with Honorine Mangomo, president and founder of the Mwana Glenn Association; Olga Elisabeth Sánchez, Coordinator of the Gender Area at the Rumiñahui Association; Agustín García, political scientist.
