ONLINE WORKSHOP – Dance told to children from 1 to 100 years old
Eva Varela and Júlia Gimeno, choreographers attached to the María Pagés Choreographic Center of Fuenlabrada, which involves them in its programs with the aim of sensitizing young creators to the ethical imperative of an art and culture committed to its territory, will take part in this family workshop concept, totally digital.
The basis of the workshop emanates from two choreographic creations recorded on video that subscribed participants can view on the Vimeo channel of the CCMP of Fuenlabrada. From a didactic point of view, applying a deconstructive methodology, the choreographers will analyze their creations focusing on the process that leads the creation from the ideation of the project to the final assembly, emphasizing the importance of the construction of the steps, the movement, the singing, the dramaturgy, the lighting, the sound, the wardrobe…
The workshop allows children, accompanied by their mothers and fathers, to interact virtually with the choreographers in a playful and interactive encounter.
The workshop sensitizes children to the body, dance and culture, transmitting to them the values that flamenco dance requires as a profession: training, discipline, effort, organization, teamwork…..
