Un cuerpo como día derramado is a series of six meetings that the CCMP of Fuenlabrada and UNAM Danza organize jointly throughout the months of April, May, June and July. Daniel Abreu Pagés
With these dialogues, the two institutions aim to bring dance and choreographic creation from both sides of the Atlantic closer together and give value to them. They want to do it through the crossed look of Spanish and Latin American creators. These are conversations based on proximity and empathy between the creators, who will have the opportunity to exchange reflections on their life experience, always marked and conditioned by the demands and responsibilities of creation.
The Cycle debuted on April 29th with the participation of Blanca Li, María Pages and Cesc Gelabert. Continuing with our bimonthly appointment, this Thursday, June 3rd, we will count with the participation of choreographer and CCMP friend, Daniel Abreu.
“As an artistic manifestation, dance is performed by the body of some people who end up talking about more people. This allows us to merge with different forms of expression and at various levels. I suppose there are other forms with which you can also tell it, but it has helped me a lot to do it through dance.”
Daniel Abreu, 2014 National Dance Award choreographer
