“Theatre is poetry that rises from the book and becomes human. And in

it speaks and shouts, cries and despairs. The theatre needs the

characters appearing on the stage to wear a costume of poetry and at the same time to be

at the same time that you can see their bones, their blood”.

Thinking of Lorca is staged as a tribute to this universal artist, through the language of Spanish Dance and Flamenco and showing its close relationship with this art form.

Lorca’s lyrics have lyrics, music and light and shadow. And from them, the music has been composed ex-profeso to evoke the figure of Federico.

The choreographer represents his figure through the people that Lorca depicted in most of his works, some being more classical and others more avant-garde, which is also reflected in the style of the choreographies that make up this work.
