This meeting aims to bring together technicians-trainers and choreographers to think and reflect on the technical training of dance professions and give it greater visibility. But above all it comes to ask a series of fundamental questions that govern the identity of the profession of technician in the performing arts, in general, and in dance, in particular.
Dolores De la Torre, Juan Miguel Gómez and Carmela Cristobal and María Pagés, masters of making a show possible, will talk about characterization, costumes, lighting, regiduria…
What is it like to be a dance technician? What is his training? What is his relationship with the creator? How does he participate in the creation? Does he possess creative sensitivity? How should he interpret the choreographer and adapt his knowledge to the dance? Is there a training policy in Spain? …
